Rewatched THE 36TH CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN and my god is it still one of the absolute best Shaw Bros films. Student gets wrapped up in a rebellion and ends up becoming a monk to spread kung fu to the masses. Intense training scenes, character development, and masterful choreography. Just top tier.

Sudden rush of weird excitement over the idea of future Elder Scrolls games referring to "the daedric lord Almsivi" because enough time passed since Morrowind. I mean, daedra just means "not our ancestors" and can refer to a wide range of entities. Give me the Daedric Prince Vivec. Makes TES6 good.

The NGE rebuilds might be worth trying too, they're like...reimaginings by a Hideaki Anno many years later.

2017 anime is ass, the Blu Rays marginally improved it but not enough to really fix it. 97 series was the almighty Susumu Hirasawa doing the music, and he MIGHT have done a track for the 2017 one? He also did Paprika, Paranoia Agent, and a ton of albums, he's great, very unique sound.
