At Scienseed, many of us come from scientific backgrounds, and many of us are women. That shapes how we look at complexity, how we ask questions, and how we translate science.
Because communicating science also requires perspective. And perspective is always richer when it’s diverse.
For decades, much of science has been built on incomplete data. Safety systems designed around male physiologies. Medical research that overlooked menopause or conditions affecting only women.
When one perspective dominates, blind spots appear. Science needs both eyes open.
When half of the gaze is missing, science loses depth.
Today is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. And beyond celebration, it’s a good moment to reflect.
