Okay I AM going to PAX East this year, but I'm not going to be as available as I usually am!
We don't have a booth on the show floor but we are running the ARCADE

When I play 90% of Western AAA games
I love this game. One of the first shmups I played through back in the day!
Armored Core 2- The first PS2 game I played and the one I spent the most hours into. Arena is A+
Symphony of the Night- The most important Castlevania, IMO. It's not Classicvania, but it did something different and it made Dracula interesting.
Blaster Master- The best NES game, IMO.
Metal Gear Solid- The first game that really locked in this idea for me that a game should be designed to take a while the first time through but really really quick each playthrough after.
Soul Reaver- My favorite gloomy unfinished exploration game with a wealth of cut content
TO BREAK THIS DOWN:
FFX- The first Final Fantasy that felt like a concise journey to me, and I love the sphere grid.
Mega Man 2- Mega Man in its purest form, IMO
Banjo Kazooie- The best collectathon, full stop.
Chrono Trigger- The game Square Enix could never make again, and it's the best game.
Jorb (@jordizzle.bsky.social) animated my horse so I was finally able to add this transition in The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest~
Blaster Master~
This is a thing
Forever in TASQ
This is what itโs playing in my head
You have a couple of Art Hawk featuring games gettin physicals- ART HAWK RENAISSANCE

*Hears a new Rob Zombie song on the radio, but has no clue the name of the song*
"This is pretty good! I know it's a long shot, but I'll put in these lyrics he keeps repeating into google and see if I can figure out the name of the song"
"...oh"
AITA for forcing my (37M) kitten (0.5F) to listen to PRISON CITY chiptunes?
I had to
I'm excited for Pokopia, but I'm also excited to see people go back and play Dragon Quest Builders and see why those games are also amazing
The kids are gonna love this game
Went to a planetarium and I had no clue the constellation SpongeBob was ratified into the space constitution
Genuinely I feel like publishers making this their only go-to for promoting their titles are doing a massive disservice.
I say this as someone who makes games that are meant to remind you of other games, lol but most of the time I'm taking the piss, and I don't sell my games as a comparison.
"If you love [other game] you'll LOVE this game!"
"This game is like a new [other game]!"
"Check out our [oth][ther][ga][me]troid!"
None of these say anything about the merits of the game you're pitching *at all*
I really wish the marketing from some accounts I follow didn't involve almost exclusively pitching their games with other game name drops instead of the merits of the game they're showing.
I get that for some people that's the only way the neurons in their brains will fire, but it feels cheap.
