A digital drawing of Suletta from Gundam Witch from Mercury, at a desk where she's been building gunpla, shooting up from the desk mouth gaping at Miorine walking in with a PGU Nu Gundam for her.

The latest update for MORSE that features support for the VBand adapter is great. Gave it a spin on my Steam Deck and it was trouble free. Kind of want to get a single button macro pad for a comically, unnecessarily large FIRE button now.
That every single friend I know that knows and cares about this has had the EXACT same reaction is hilarious lmao
Pipe Dream/Mania is from 1989.
Bioshock is from 2007.
Bioshock is now older than Pipe Dream was when Bioshock was released lol
The Flock stuff is truly wild. Glad to see people making their representatives aware of how they feel.
Yooo this rules! I have been meaning to grab a copy of Salty Walt's book. Heard good things about the Rybakovs. Your write-up on it here is nice, dude. If I make one for myself, I'll have to revisit this! Thanks for sharing.
I have two that I use for HF - typically I use an EFHW (specifically the Reliance Bugout), but I also have an elevated telescopic quarterwave that I'm putting together myself for fun and practice.
Got my hands on a full HF transceiver. I’m officially Team Xiegu. Can’t wait to get outside with it.
Genuinely surprised at the performance. The repeater we’re on tonight usually gives me so much trouble - but this little dude on a pizza pan in my living room is crushing it
Make a way out of no way. Tech net check innnnn
BREAKING: A push to name one of Chicago’s snowplows “Abolish ICE,” clearly linking the humorous pun to efforts to oppose President Donald Trump’s mass deportation effort, won the city’s annual snowplow naming contest, officials announced. @wttw.bsky.social
Hypercharge weekend was very very good
and we’re back (to freezing)
I’m a simple man. I see a Last Starfighter reference, I click the good button
I love when a game like Ys 9 just
GOES
it starts fast and exciting and interesting you're immediately thrown into the action it rules
Here's what that outreach mode looks like in practice: MORSE is currently on display in Strasbourg, so I tracked down the name of the local (REF67) and national (REF) amateur radio clubs and added them to MORSE to give players a direct local connection to engaging with the hobby.
A Tribune push alert about the Bears stadium possibly relocating to Hammond, Indiana, which is laughably described as a 20-minute drive from Solider Field.
Sure, in a space ship maybe.
False spring sunset at the flying field tonight and I (mostly) had the place all to myself.
They are awesome - stoked to see them get love!
I try not to throw too many recs around - but if you want similar math rock vibes but with a little more punk energy, check out tricot.
Literary Math (2017) was on repeat for a loooong time over here and is totally worth a listen
Love myself some paranoid void. Def spinning this today.
Five thumbnail sketches with simplified pose and color tests for a Silmarillion inspired illustration. Morgoth is visible as a dark shadow, Luthien and Beren framed by blue and white textiles. Colored pencil. Two extra sketches in the corner are more detailed, testing expressions and poses for the characters in pencil. A stickfigure meant to be Luthien shows how her leg pose doesn't make sense, and "Knees??" is written next to it.
My sketches for 'Stealing a Silmaril' - from where to place Morgoth in this composition, to poses for Beren and Luthien...
... and then: so many textile options. Guess who spent an evening tossing cloth around in front of a lamp to then shoot references.
I've probably shared this one before but if I find myself having more than 5 free mins at a time, I like playing Morse Walker. Lots of config settings and, while it kind of is just callsign practice, it simulates variance in pitch and speed, and gives a steady stream of contacts til you hit stop.
I feel this. Too many things to do in a day to really give it hours, but even dabbling in the CW games on my phone for a few mins every day keeps my ears tuned up. I have for sure noticed it helping.
Introducing the new ko4fzg.com, where I've uploaded all my manuals and ham radio manuals. It's just the basic easy to find ones for now so the utility is limited but I'm adding more interesting ones.
