I recently enjoyed a trip to the US Pacific Northwest. Lots of excellent physics conversations at DAMOP2025 in Portland, and a focused workshop on compressible turbulence at the UW's Institute for Nuclear Theory in Seattle. Of course I also took some time to walk in an old-growth forest!
