I think I tried in the past but nothing really stuck. Ik early on in my writing stuff (before I started VTubing) I had some characters with set birthdays, but none since then.

Right? I’ve held off on it but I just saw a post where someone mentioned giving their OCs birthdays based on when they were designed and I think that’s a really cool idea.

Now that I think about it, I should give my OCs birthdays. 🤔

Thank you (it’s a good thing). I was thinking about it the other day because things like class-wide critiques don’t bother me and I get asked why I am so comfortable with people reading my stuff. No wonder it doesn’t phase me, I’ve been conditioned.

Experiencing another loss. I’m skipping school today. After Wynter leaves for work, I might drown myself in my art and writing to make myself feel better. Things have been really bleak for a while now, but at least I have my stories.

I have three snippets of “Morrigan’s Cabin” picked out for shorts, but I plan on doing a full reading of it for a full-length video. Should I turn the full reading into shorts instead?

I was considering that. Shorts are a lot easier to make if I don't go overboard on the editing.

Oh my god, I am in love with the mushroom terrarium earrings! Going to try to put in an order tonight.

I can try, it's just a lot easier to write a post than make a video. I just wrote a 1,000+ word post in two hours while a video would take WAY longer. I'll try to come up with something, but I have a feeling my YouTube stuff is going to be really inconsistent until I graduate.

Seriously considering taking all of the ideas I have for videos and just turning them into blog posts, but I honestly don't know if anyone would want to read them if they aren't writing advice posts (which is the niche I wrote in the last time I blogged).

I was, but I took yesterday to rest and now I'm feeling much better. Very much had to follow my rule of "don't believe what you think about your life after 9:00 PM."

In case anyone is wondering how the semester is going, I was assigned 175 pages of reading to get done for next week. I read for 4 hours yesterday and only made it about halfway through. This doesn't include the writing assignment I have to draft for a workshop on Wednesday. THIS IS ONLY ONE CLASS.

I might try to record some shorts in the future, but Ik things will get busier as the semester goes on. I’m taking today to rest since I pulled a 12-hour day yesterday and didn’t sleep well. If I get bored, I’ll probably write or do art things since my finger is feeling better.

Got through my first week of classes, and I am already ahead in my more difficult class. Managed to buckle down and get through more than half of my reading for next week last night so I wouldn’t be overwhelmed. Things are going great so far.

especially since I really wanted to focus on sharing my characters and writing process rather than just giving advice and tips. I'm going to have to experiment with things and see where it takes me.

Part of me wonders if this is a sign to go back to my roots and focus on writing things like blog posts instead. I was able to keep up with that even when I had a full-time schedule in the past and it genuinely takes a lot less effort than making videos, but Idk if anyone will even read them, (2/3)

So, classes start today and I just looked through the syllabus and course calendar for one of them...

The prospects for getting back into making videos is not looking good at all. I still plan to write like crazy this upcoming semester, but that may be all I'm able to do. (1/3)

Finished the second volume of Phantom Tales and I am super interested in whatever plot is going on with the inn owner and the yokai slayer, but so far we only gets bits of the storyline at the end of every volume. I wonder if that’ll change as I get through the series.

Already finished the volume of Black Butler, and OH MY GOD I got chills. I got spoiled on what happens next, but I’m so glad that I have continued to read the series. I can’t wait to see how all of it wraps up. I need to start buying the digital chapters so I don’t have to wait for the full volumes.

Today’s reading list. Let’s see how far I get. 😊

Ordered all of these with a gift card right before I sprained my finger and they just came in. Soooo excited to have something to do that isn’t watching YouTube, and I have wanted to read the rest of Phantom Tales since I read the 1st volume.

So, it is just a sprain, but I may have a benign cartilage tumor in the effected joint. Neat.

I’ll be resting. At this point, I don’t think anything is serious enough that they’ll want to look into it further. Still can’t believe this happened because I tried to pick up my cat.

Just got back from the ER. So much for writing this week.

Fortunately it’s just a sprain (will hear from the radiologist tomorrow if anything else is wrong), but it hurt like hell. This is just my luck, though.
