not even those, no lmao. The only shooter I can remember enjoying before the modern era was on the N64, and they were two: Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark.

They've always been my preferred genre, yeah. That and platformers, I played plenty of mario and sonic and adjacent. Shooters...not much of those, no. lmao

Maybe, but I just didn't prefer the genre at all. I knew of it, but it just didn't matter any to me. I was playing Tales of Symphonia, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles...i don't remember offhand exactly which GCN games i owned but none of them were RE lmao
