Do they also have driver alert cameras and rear cross traffic warnings?

The Adaptive Cruise Control would be a bit of a cheat.

They generally do, the business council of Australia is on record calling for an increase.

So why doesn’t the government do it if everyone wants it?

Is it because they like the idea of keeping people in poverty or are they so blinded by the idea of “Better Economic Managers” that they don’t care?

I must admit it’s kind of nice seeing people waking up to what Labor has become. Of course I was also an ALP voter not all that long ago (Gaza was the final straw for me) so I’m not about to say “about time” but it’s comforting to see we’re not a country full of voting automatons.

Not quite anyway.

So anyway, with Trump and Bibi attacking Iran and Iran responding with "No oil for you" you know who is really going to win from this?

Putin.

Russia has a fair bit of oil that the west was sort of shunning through sanctions but not really, and will now desperately need that oil.

Just a thought.

Evangelical Christianity would have to be the worst thing to ever happen to the Middle East.

Shades of "Putin days away from death" claims. He's old, things pop up that don't have anything to do with imminent death. If anything he's surprisingly healthy for someone his age.

People need to stop hoping he'll just die and the bad stuff will magically disappear. It's an excuse for inaction.

So they didn't think a region constantly being destabilised by the very country they're from wouldn't be subject to geopolitics.

I thought hedge fund managers were supposed to be intelligent.

The constant “Israel has a right to defend itself” well after it became obvious that “defence” involved deconstructing the bodies of kids and babies through the liberal application of heavy weaponry.

It’s very important to be polite to the racist troglodyte whose whole political purpose is to cripple society for monetary gain.

Just another tiny little limp dicked man. If the US decides to put boots on the ground in Iran this mindless little sycophant will be lining up to put Australians in harms way.

So Israel and the US have attacked Iran. Oh I’m sorry, I forgot when it was colonial powers it’s always a “pre-emptive strike”.

Like the bully’s “look what you made me do” these tiny little limp dicked men need to send others to do the killing for them.

East coast of Australia checking in, apparently it will also be visible here, and of course rain also forecast for that day.

Winning.

There’s a technical term for that.

It’s called cowardice.

Yeah but it would also mean three years of Albo bitching about everything and doing everything he could to whiteant the Greens.

Rudd levels of insecurity in that man.

Labor was becoming deeply unpopular for a first term government, to the point where Dutton of all people was seen as preferable. If it wasn’t for his MAGA brain fart we may well have a coalition government right now, though I think a minority ALP government was more likely.

He’s incredibly thin skinned which for me doesn’t make for an effective leader. Maybe if he concentrated on making Australia a more equitable country instead of throwing little tantrums about the place he might get a bit more respect.

They're in a Syrian refugee camp being victimised by their horrible mothers while our plucky little government frets uncontrollably at the thought of what those kids are going through... and hopefully none of that involves a travel agent.

They won't though because they want the votes of the racists. Albanese wants to build a legacy to rival John Howard, of many years in office regardless of what it takes and who it hurts.

So expect the dog whistling to continue.

24.02.2026 05:00 👍 5 🔁 1 💬 2 📌 0

Yes I would, because they're Australians and we have a responsibility to take care of our own, even if that means charging them with crimes and and sentencing them to time here in Australia.

We are part of a global community and that means we take responsibility, we don't palm it off on others.

Do we know for sure all of these women were adults when they left Australia 10 years ago? As for sending a team to assess them, Albanese has made it crystal clear he doesn't care about them or their kids and he won't help them in any way.

He made the decision to abandon children willingly.

But before that he was on 7:30 explaining how the government was right to abandon those Australian kids in Syria.

I used to like Burke, had some great one liners in parliament but the fact is he's just another ALP politician who will tell you what you want to hear while victimising others.

As far as the MSM is concerned Hanson is for entertainment value only, her divisive rhetoric has people either nodding along or yelling obscenities at her, either way it's clicks and engagement.

Basically they're going to revenue stream us into an authoritarian government... more authoritarian.
