I love them SO much and I am so proud of what I was able to do but they were physically and mentally draining to create. From concepts to styling to drawing and coloring them, it was a lot – but very much worth it!

They were the hardest part of the piece. Plenty of life drawing along with photo references to get it right.

They are really difficult, the best tip I can give is to push the proportions slightly, exaggeration sells their form.
And I actually do have two I used for reference (my cat and my brothers) they are often laying down on or next to me while I draw.
