Most of the larger native participants are already in, prices are sent higher by tourist participants who notice the strength. They are much more sensitive to noticeable book depth decreases.

Bottoms are set by larger entities that are already native to the asset class and therefore aren’t worried about price impact. Low liquidity is bullish bc bears get sidelined / hit harder, faster. Not the same after you’ve already had a 2x rally.

Been thinking about sudden drops in liquidity. I think depending on the stage of the cycle we’re at that could be bullish. For example, at 16k at a giga htf bottom that could be argued to be bullish.
