1) A great thing to return to Bluesky to reply to
2) Itβs definitely said knowingly but also sort of semi-automatic at this point, which perhaps reflects how much Cliches culture has seeped into my brain!

Max Verstappen isnβt in Miami yet, heβs been at home due to the birth of his first child. Will be here for Friday. Totally understand buying as much time as possible. Best wishes to him and Kelly Piquet. The juggling act of being a new father and an F1 driver begins! www.the-race.com/formula-1/ma...

There arenβt really wet setups anymore but obviously wing levels can be a choice there - no sign thatβs what theyβve done though, at least not yet

George Russell just told us in the pen that McLaren is so fast they can afford to switch focus to 2026 now with an advantage like this. Says the order and margins are as expected. Reckons itβs βall tyresβ and they are doing βsomething pretty specialβ - look at final sector margin.

Iβve been quickly won over by Gabriel Bortoleto off-track early in his #F1 career and he made a very strong impression again today dealing with a Helmut Marko appraisal of him: www.the-race.com/formula-1/ga...

Thanks! Itβs tricky, but worthwhile. Test finishes at 7pm. Then until around 9pm we are in the paddock speaking to people and working on web pieces and video script. Record podcast whenever we are done with all that, around 10pm.
Thank you! We just finished recording the day 3/test wrap one so wonβt be too long
Good week in Bahrain. Pleasure and a privilege to see #F1 this up close and try to turn that access and opportunity into worthwhile insight. Next stop: Australia!
After a two-hour trip trackside to end testing, here's a quick final report on our Patreon covering every team - if you're not part of the Members Club, it's 90% off your first month at the moment! www.patreon.com/posts/final-...
I've expanded on these initial thoughts on Patreon after a second trip trackside to conclude the first half day of running, if you're part of The Race Members Club: www.patreon.com/posts/video-...
Early trackside impressions not to be read into too much beyond building an initial reference point for the week. I liked how the Red Bull looked, strong front end, especially being on a harder compound. Hamilton experimenting a little in the Ferrari, which looked good but not quite as consistent.
Good to be back. #F1
The new Red Bull looks just like the old Red Bull. And not in a normal 'evolution not revolution' kind of way. "It looks very similar," the team admits. But will that be the case by Australia - or even the end of the week?

Iβve left food for Mrs Mitchell-Malm and our son, Iβm on my way to Bahrain, and Iβm rejoicing at having an empty seat next to me on the plane. Must mean #F1 is back!
