EXTRINSIC INVOCATION I. O Booze, grant me the blabability to splatter a story under a deadline lest I die with an awkward rhyme, --> the rest of the prose poem is at the link!
O I think we all need an invocation right now, and Some Words just published mine...Part I of V, the thread continues every Tuesday in March...hope you find something in it... Many thanks to @somewordslit.bsky.social via THE ADMIN @juscarts.com

White sans serif text “Some Words” in title case reduced with don’t-give-a-sock abandon by circular profile pic frame to “ne Worc”. Ne indeed.
I like how the @somewordslit.bsky.social profile pic only shows some of the words.
A big part of the authoritarian playbook is war. War takes over the news. War blots out criticism. War divides a nation’s people, subjecting those against it to being called unpatriotic. War grants leaders all sorts of emergency powers. War consumes everything else.
We mustn’t let this war do so.
Slapped together collage, top left: winter photo of Brickbat Books from across the street showing ground floor of white brick building in Philly's Queen Village, the book-packed window slightly blocked by cars (I should have crossed the street but the snowbanks won) and shadowed by a black awning below sunny bay windows, top right: Neurocabin 6.5 x 9" poetry book displayed on a shelf briefly for this pic before moving down to its shelf (please refer to this account's 18Jan26 image for cover alt text...), bottom right: Neurocabin vertical and alphabetically filed on the lowest poetry shelf, floor level, which it good for some and not for others, Stuckel wedged between Strong and Surowiecki, bottom left: map of Brickbat Books location (for directions, enter this post's address into your favorite map app), center: holding the room together, a postage-stamp pen-and-ink cartoon stolen from Brickbat's website of a person leaning back, eyes closed, mouth bellowing in separate comic clouds "Brick" and "bat", though possibly there is no yell but rather a swung-out uvula tattooed "Brick" and "bat". Your call.
NEUROCABIN now on the alphabetical shelf at Brickbat Books in Philly 🙏
