I just exclusively use video game music myself since I've played so many so I know a bunch of songs that will fit what im going for. Also helps thematically if people know the original context of some of the music used

Idk. We're also living in the gaming recession of re-make every game ever so lmao we all know explorers remake is coming if we get any pmd :c it's been 10 years since Super, at some point a new game is just not happening.

Trails games get a pass though, that FC remake is very good

I do think that either it's dead because pokemon company/Nintendo and Chunsoft can't come to agreements as there's been cited difficulties there IIRC, or Chunsoft is more wanting to focus on their own IPs..

Though maybe not considering 2x2 was announced I think first on a Nintendo direct so shrug?
