Sorry for disappearing, uni is kicking my ass as usual lol. Thanks to the snowstorm we're doing virtual tutoring today, but nobody's showed up to my study session so I've just been doodling in the Zoom Whiteboard, which I can only describe as the only drawing app that has NEGATIVE cursor sensitivity

trying to learn card tricks from a 1975 magic book is turning out to be difficult for my sludge brain, but I really want this to be a fully non-digital hobby so I will persist 😤

there really just isn’t enough time to do everything. There’s so many things I’ll never learn how to do. It kind of makes me want to just try learning something new every week. 5 years ago I could barely draw a stick figure and if I never sat down and learned I’d have died thinking i couldn’t draw
Ive been teaching myself close up magic just to give myself another non computer related hobby and I feel like im still pretty horrible at it, but over the weekend i got to try a bunch of the tricks on my nephew and I immediately became the coolest person in the family 🙂
it turns out that trying to do grad school things when you have 0 money is not a winning strategy so ill be opening up commissions soon-ish
