cleaner feed. To me it's more about freedom to control what I want and don't want to see.
And just to double verify - I checked the list real quick and went to a few profiles on that list and it's really just people posting stuff generated with AI, so the list actually is "valid". If I for example don't want to see AI generated content and I trust this guy, I can subscribe and have a
And I'm sure Im also on a few blocklists. :D
In the end you have to think like this: This list is probably subscribed by maximum 3 people? Maybe 10? It's not like you're now auto hidden from Bluesky for everyone.
On top, this is also easily reversable - if you realize someone ends up on a list who did nothing wrong or actually doesn't post something they are accused of, you can simply unsubscribe a list und auto unblock all the people.
...they add you to this list and block you. Then when other people trust this person and say "Hey, I also don't want to see AI Slop" they can subscribe to their list and just ... don't see AI slop anymore. It's their active decision, it's just that they're not actively "blocking" you.
You're not really ruining their reputation or anything. Those are personal lists people have to actively subscribe.
In the end it comes down to trust & the ability to hide what you don't want to see. If this person who created the list thinks you're posting AI Slop and they don't want to see it...
- Get "walking" behind things in the tileset to work. I thought using the zindex would work but that's only for between-tiles rendering.
But its cool how fast this feels like oldschool RPG Maker.
So just a few things I have to figure out with Godot, never used it before honestly:
- Get z-index and collisions right. Basically I want to keep sprites on the same level (actors) but the upper part that reaches out of the 16x16 tile should always be in front of the sprite "behind" it
Okay, this is cool af.
I think you may have ended up on an "AI Slop" list that people can subscribe to this guy made. Well the wonders/powers of an open, customizable social media site! :D

Wow, I don't know why the background noise is SO loud. It wasn't like this on my local machine. Well - I hope you are awake now.
Playing around with Godot a bit - I grew up with 16 bit RPGMaker 2000 games and I miss that style of games a bit.
Now I want to try to replicate as many things as possible from those old engines on Godot with more control over code. Lets see how far I get this.
Signed up for Claude via the 20$ sub, did 3 Claude Code requests on a small LUA codebase via Sonnet & little chatting with Haiku - is it normal that my quota is already hit like 9-10% of the weekly limit?
Pretty sure they have this on top:
vivaldi.com/features/ad-...
I just know that those built-in ones can cause websites to mis-behave if set to the maximum level.
I think Vivaldi also has some internal adblocker right? I just encountered the same error a lot with Brave Shields on multiple sites, that's why I was wondering.
What browser are you using?
Yeah, it still requires a way to store private data that can be shared with a specific subset of users only. Same with "private" social networks like Facebook where you need to be a mutual to see posts / photos and where you have control over who you want to share something with.
Anyone else ever tried to self-host anytype.io? Their guide was really simple, but collaboration seems really slow and I wonder if it's just my VPS being to slow / having network issues or something that is just normal.

Whats up Bluesky, my day sucked, what about yours?
That's something I like on Matrix / Element - it gives you the option to configure (IRC / Discord or Messenger view)
In the end it depends how you currently release, if you are already hard-bound to sticking to semver, I'd say just release from 1.x.x on - if you can still tell your users "this is non-stable software and APIs can change every version" you could go into a tagged version.
I'm not really a fan of 0.x.x ranges as they're just introducing the problems you're describing and are really not explaining well what kind of version it is right now. If it's a stable version, what goes against versioning off 1.x.x? Otherwise what speaks against a tagged version 1.0.0-alpha.x f.e.
I think I found tab completions really helpful back when it came out lol.
The sad thing: It can be all a cool and helpful tool but everything is so massively overhyped and too much noise around it that it's mind numbing. Hard to stay "excited" for new AI stuff.
He's my biggest fan! β€οΈ
Once a generation, a product changes the world. The iPhone. ChatGPT. Little sweaters for dogs.
Introducing Oomplify. It's not one of those things.
It's a Chrome extension that replaces βAIβ and βartificial intelligenceβ in your LinkedIn with βOompa-Loompas.β
Take that, sweater dogs.
oomplify.com
Haha, that's great. I'd prefer an Oompa Loompa craze a bit more than the current AI one! π
