It even managed to turn me around on the inclusion of Leon. Look, I love Leon, he's great and all but I was really worried he was only in it because they were too worried about committing to a full Grace driven scare fest. I found alternating between the terror and the action was actually great.
I finished Resident Evil Requiem, and it's my favourite of the series right alongside RE2 Remake. That makes a lotta sense considering it's such a love letter to RE fans but to RE2 fans specifically. Aside from some gripes with a few bosses, the game has absolutely smashed it for me. BIG RECOMMEND.
It's real pretty. I love how it crashes and slowly fades away in the second half. Big early This Will Destroy You vibes to my ears.
First album still has a special place in my heart for sure. I'm really big on their third album, especially when it's cold out, it's a proper winter record.

With very few exceptions, I'm way more interested in buying indie games with a definite start and finish. I don't want something to play over and over again forever. I want a good five hour experience and then to move on to someone else's creation. There's millions that expect you to never stop.
Marathon is a victim of its own design. It is visually stunning but to actually play it as a game and attempt to navigate the menus/UI is a fucking nightmare.
