I've been postponing doing it again for years, partly cuz I needed to focus on my transition/life and partly cuz of anti-trans laws in my country disallowing legal transition and me not wanting to be outed to the paragliding club and deadnamed/misgendered all over the place for insurance reasons.
I am so so happy you got to experience the joy of paragliding! It is truly one of the most magnificent experiences.
I did a training course pre-transition, I really miss it.
I think next year I'll go do it again. I'll need some more training and I'll be free to fly without relying on instructors.
Ironically you can’t really change your gender, which is why people are trans. The gender of trans people doesn’t match their assigned birth sex.
It’s actually your sex phenotype that you Can change through medical transition.
