Finally added the ability to put in your province/region if not in the US, when entering your address as a user (haven't added to stolen bikes yet but it's coming soon)
Also added a CSV with all the primary activities, which you can suggest changes to: github.com/bikeindex/re...
Just added "Primary Activity" to bikes - so you can finally register that your bike is a gravel bike, an Enduro MTB, or for Bike Polo.
Open Data Initiative: .csv file containing the manufacturers we know and their data: github.com/bikeindex/re....
This allows you to suggest updates that are pulled directly into bikeindex.org. We're working on adding more spreadsheets to this repository to make our data even more community-driven!
Better Security Measures: We addressed malicious use that was triggering a large number of undeliverable emails and affecting our email deliverability. While it was frustrating to deal with, the improvements we made will help us respond to spam attempts more effectively in the future.
Improved Social Media Sharing: We updated how bikes appear when shared on social media. The changes we've made will make future visual improvements much easier to implement.
Faster Site Performance: We improved typical response times by 20%, meaning faster page loads for everyone!
Enhanced Search Experience: We updated our search to be asynchronous with a loading animation, dramatically improving performance and ease of use. This also lays the groundwork for searching bikes on the marketplace.
