When all you have is Markdown, everything looks like a nail-shaped agent skill
How about I todonβt, LinkedIn?
and don't hallucinate
Quote graphic with yellow quotation marks on black background. White text reads: "It felt like a breath of fresh air whenever I used it. I felt smarter again. Instead of feeling like I was being force-fed some LLM-generated response, I got to surf the web again. I learned about new websites, and rediscovered old ones." Attribution to Eli Perkins
Highly recommend this insightful post from @eliperkins.com reflecting on a year of using Kagi:

Just implemented this on my blog too. Pretty easy to do since the posts are already in Markdown!

Whether or not the Xcode agent is any good (I'm dubious), the fact Xcode itself is exposing first-party MCP tools is great newsβtrying to get Claude/Codex to do fucking anything right in iOS is agonizing. developer.apple.com/β¦
"Tools I Love: xcrun simctl io booted recordVideo"
A handy lil command line tool to visualize changes in my PRs that I use regularly.
Oooh, I'm curious what it is you enjoy most about Kagi News, if you don't mind sharing!
"One Year With Kagi"
It's been a year of using not-Google as my default search engine, and I don't think there's any turning back for me. Kagi rocks. π€
What 99% of the internet feels like these days
@jdan.me needs more communication notifications. how am I supposed to know who this is coming from?!
I don't think Gas Town is a project that could (or should) be used by anyone for Real Engineeringβ’, but I think there's some interesting concepts to tease out over time.
Dang, this blog from @maggieappleton.com is REALLY good, and echos how I feel about Gas Town. Interesting concepts baked into a tool that has ridden the hype waves to tip of every Silicon Valley engineer's tongue.
This was a lot of fun to build, even if I wanted to tear my hair out every time I ran into some weird AVFoundation behavior. The transcript views use timing data along with a neat lil TextRenderer to create more immersive transcripts that let you follow along without needing to unmute.
Checkout podcasts on @particle.news! Read or listen along with podcast clips relevant otherwise stories, listen to full podcast episodes, see episode transcripts and learn more about the podcast hosts and guests.
Send feedback my way on how you like this feature and Particle in general too πββοΈ

"Gardening"
I've had this term knocking around in my head for some years, in relation to caring for a codebase. Finally put some words together in a blog to capture how I feel about it.
whoops! should be fixed now, lemme know if it doesn't work for ya.
Another day, another `mise use` that saved my butt. Fewer tools have entered my workflow as quickly as this one did some years back, and I rarely think about the fact that I'm using it 99% of the time.
As called on Miami Spanish radio:
another day, another wtf from Apple developer land: developer.apple.com/forums/threa...
Looking forward to the ground rule double system getting implemented where I get 2 likes for free if the post gets stuck under the fence
