i have dyslexia i mean wavetable not waveshaper, up there ^^^

routing noise into the phase of a synth bodes interesting results at very low percentages. very low percentage tweaks across lots of parameters and lots of tiny randomization (esp on pitch and wavetable posish) keeps things alive and breathing

you can create feedback loops in ableton by putting a native effect before other effects in a rack (amps and distortion) and sidechain the post-fx signal w/ listen on. you can on/off the feedback in between notes to make synths sound like electric guitars in ways. or just make certain notes FUCKED

using velocity to control the position of a waveshaper is a goated way to bypass limited piano rolls, you can map velocity to all kinds of timbrel parameters in a synth and all u need to do to squeeze interesting textures out of individual notes is move the vel up and down
