This shit is EXACTLY why I am for heavy regulations on rescues and shelters. There's so many unethical places run by mouth breathing troglodytes that use punishment-based trainers and will lie about a dog's history.

HOLY SHIT: I did a little digging on the "rescue" that is giving my friend a hard time and uses an aversive trainer...looks like they adopted a dog out with KIDNEY FAILURE, didn't tell the adopter, & the dog sadly passed.
Protect Jaafar Jackson at all costs, he's so precious. I hope the "Michael" movie launches his acting career, he's going to be amazing.

I met this dog, I was supposed to train and walk him. He was a total sweetheart and super responsive to the clicker. That fucking rescue and that asswipe of a trainer are going to ruin this poor dog.
When I tell you I am seething with anger and ready to unleash my inner dragon, I fucking mean it. Punishment based methods cause more problems than it solves, and any trainer who ACTUALLY studies science based training will tell you that.
My friend was like FUCK NO, I disagree with the use of punishment, can we use another way? Well, I guess this pissed the βtrainerβ off and he badmouthed my friend to the point the rescue wonβt let him adopt the dog AND heβs taking the poor dog back tonight.
Reason why I donβt trust rescues number 138484: a friend of mine was fostering to adopt with a well known rescue here in NYC. Well, this βrescueβ insisted he worked with a balanced trainer; the guy INSISTED on using a prong collar and leash pops on the dog, who is reactive.
Oooo this is a great idea!
My eye is twitching just reading this
Thank you for letting us know. Can't say I am surprised by any of this, they're all incompetant buffoons without a single braincell between them.
I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
1/ Here's what I can share:
My dog Zoe and my dog walking client Milo standing on a tree stump together.
My dog Zoe and my dog walking client Milo smiling at the camera.

Zoe and Milo enjoyed their walk today!
This is honestly a huge fear of mine. I was 15 when 9/11 happened and it traumatized me for life. My uncle was there when it happened & my maternal aunt lost a friend. I could see Trump trying to instigate another attack, esp. In NYC.
Yea. Iβm a NYCer who lived through 9/11 and my uncle was there when it happened. Iβm terrified of him doing something stupid to provoke another terrorist attack.
Oh I can imagine. Those things seem like theyβre a pain to store.
Love it! Thereβs a house in my neighborhood that goes bonkers decorating for Christmas and Halloween, they keep their giant skeleton up year round and decorate him for the other holidays. π
All of this. Every single one of these ghouls need to be prosecuted.
The NYT can fuck off right into Tartarus.
The world is a dumpster fire, but I am grateful that my dogβs Zoeβs bloodwork results came back decent. She was diagnosed with glomerular nephritis/Protein Losing Nephropathy last year, so she needs blood work to monitor her. Kidney levels still a bit high, but sheβs firmly in Stage One!
LMFAOOOO I love Colin Jost so much:

I love it too!
My dog training client Roo with her pink harness.
Saw my Sato training client Roo this morning! She is too cute for words but full of mischief! π
Holy shit. πππ
I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.
Guess he didnβt read Greek Mythology as a kidβ¦this kind of hubris is always punished.
Iranβs people were facing a horrible shortage of water before the war began. If we are destroying desalination plants and setting fire to Teheran we are committing unfathomable crimes.
Omfg I canβt take how cute they are!
This is awful.
