Really enjoying the audiobook of @aptshadow.bsky.social 's Shroud - but has me really rethinking the pronunciation of "lamentable". Awesome narrator - will always hear her voice doing Trine “But, now, let us step over here and speak of matters utterly innocent and unconnected with subterfuge.”

I used to feel bad/condescending for asking "stupid questions" to help people troubleshoot stuff, but after years of fielding issues I no longer have any hesitation asking basic stuff like "is it plugged in? Does the outlet have power?" etc etc.

Something I'm confused about - saw articles complaining that Wicked was too desaturated/muted. I saw it in 3d and it was very bright and vivid. Wondering if the 3d version was brighter/more contrast for some reason? Also possibly the most perfect movie of a musical ever IMHO
So many parallels between current US politics and abusive relationships. "Ooh if you fight back that will just make him angry" vs "Ooh pardoning his son will make the other guy put unqualified family members in positions of power or pardon criminals to gain their loyalty" oh wait - he already did..
