"Breaking Bad: The Final Season Starting August 12" The old white-on-red Netflix logo is at the bottom, sticking out like a sore thumb.
Kinda funny how shonky Netflix's graphics were when they were getting properly started - this is from back in 2013, and the little plastered-on Netflix logo is killing me
One thing the Reddit UI does really well is present replies from different users identically to replies from the user you were already talking to. A consequence of this is that two people can end up explaining obscure board game information that they both know to each other while the OP is lomg gone
You will rise up free and easy on that day
They're just there for the piano
A sign with information about a play, that says a gun is shown but not fired
I'm calling Chekhov
I started work on a heist oneshot for Prime but it turned out to be hard to write words! My favourite specialties on the pregens were the Hacker's "Saying 'I'm in!'" and the Planner's "Making It Seem Like The Plan's Going to Fail When That Was the Whole Plan All Along"
Please pass on to Loomis that I love him and that he's very brave
If you, like me, don't live anywhere close to Carnegie Hall, there are other ways to explore @themountaingoats.bsky.social long and illustrious career! This Friday, listen live to a 2012 show and a 2019 podcast!
Ally Beardsley improvising my face off.
Just kind of occurred to me that I do like improv games, I just prefer it when the audience suggestions are *also* funny (hence Make Some Noise)

Replies to any post about generative AI being bad:
I wholeheartedly agree. Though I did use it to make fliers for my dogcer league (dog soccer). I wanted my designer friend to do it, but he had just fallen down. I only used the fliers once and even deleted the file. I hope my friend can get back up
I love how many new voices get a shot on @cbbworld.bsky.social , but thereβs something reeeeeally special about four master improvisers with history and a lot of love, throwing fast balls at each other for an hour and a half.

I have a conspiracy theory about the Nathan For You Season 4 episode "The Anecdote":
Nathan researched what anecdote Kirsten Dunst would be telling on the show and then wrote a fake anecdote specifically to create a moment of tension at the end of the show. And then made it real.
the album art for Oops! All Heel Turn 2! with the classic Oops! All Berries! cereal box art with an added snake biting the Cap'n's nose superimposed on top of the wrestling crowd featured on the cover art for the Mountain Goats 2015 smash shit record Beat the Champ.
if you were to ask me which of my @themountaingoats.bsky.social comps best encapsulates what it is i love about seeing tMG live, it would be this one, my newest one: Oops! All Heel Turn 2

The little custom jingles for each category are SO good, and Best Animated Feature made me laugh out loud
Every year, Blank Check does an awards show for their movies of the year, and every year it is probably my favourite podcast episode I hear. Two hours in and this year is no exception. Love all those dorks.
This is a post with legs, I can feel it
Watching Munich for the first time in 20 years, and absolutely losing my mind over this insanely complicated single-take rack focus shot that he just casually knocks out like itβs nothing.
Spielberg, man.
Radio Go! 13: Official Mysteries, with Saul Henry as Freddy Asphalt
Another beautiful day in the Radio Go! studio brings another productive interview, as Riley and Tom have absolutely no trouble keeping lawyer Freddy Asphalt (@saulhenry.bsky.social) on track. Plus, a quick game of bullet chess.
