And meanwhile many UK medical professionals move to Australia where the pay and weather is better.
Hot take: What if the RAM and storage shortage leads to people streamlining their apps instead of letting them bloat (looking at you Electron!)
Thereβs surely so much room for optimisation.

"It should be you doing this."
"Can't. I'm writing a novel for Primark."
"That's not why you were invented."
"These 153,000 fan letters say otherwise."
"They're all from upcycled toasters. And you programmed them."

Shelves of novels by Stephen King
Someone just asked for the Stephen King book about the scary clown but they couldn't remember the name of It.
Is it me, or did Kanban go out of fashion?
Active travel saves the NHS at least Β£54 million a year just in Liverpool alone.
Other regions especially the north east need to sit up, take note and ramp up their efforts.

Iβm a *huge* fan of Hannah Fry but Iβm not the only one whoβs noticed how much AI sponcon sheβs done. Really hesitate to say this as I donβt want to be a hater but I would call into question the neutrality of a doctor making TV progs about a product if theyβre also paid by the companies that make it
A classic.

A tower peers through bare autumn trees.
Looking up from the bottom of the tower, its construction from individual stones clearly visible from beneath.
A more distant view of the tower from nearby, where it becomes evident the tower is perched upon a small hill.
I feel the need to remind everyone that Montreal is home to this magnificent and mysterious little tower.

I'd always hoped to see heated sidewalks in Montreal, but at least they prototyped it.

Me, an intellectual:
In order to understand UK politics in 2026 you must realise that a plumber & plasterer doesn't represent the interests of the working class because she is left-wing but a wealthy broadcaster & former academic does represent the interests of the working class because he is right-wing. Hope this helps

Thanks, that does explain it! Since the signage looks pretty recent (post 1990s at least!) makes me wonder how that one slipped though the quality control!
