I dont see how maintenance costs on a $2000/mo apt "averages" $1500. Are they saying thats per MONTH? Per year maybe, at most. Ive lived in my apt for 5yrs and the only maintenance I've needed was a blown microwave. I pay power/trash/water on top of $1880 rent, for a 450sq ft studio. Its disgusting

Not only that, but the fact that SAG actors signed up to work on this, disgusts me. They whine and raise hell about AI synthesizing their voice or likeness yet freely work on a project that was created with LLM's trained on petabytes of stolen source images and artwork.

I had a *ahem*, "free" version of Lightwave 3D 5.5 back in 1998 that I learned 3D on. I also ended up learning Milkshape3D around the same time, for HL1 modding.

These look great! Definitely "inspired by" though, hehe. Most of our textures on PS1 were like 32x32, 4-bit or 8-bit quantized. What's the res on these? PS1/2 where hard to work on - only 2/4MB of dedicated video memory. Texture memory pages were 256x256, so things got packed quite a bit.

Agreed. Unfortunately, here in the U.S, we've farmed out nearly all of our prison system to private firms, who are driven by profit & thus dont care about rehabilitation. I'd gladly pay higher taxes if everyone got healthcare, education and rehabilitation.

Business productivity is at an all time high, while salaries have remained the same for decades. Now they want even more profit by using AI as digital slaves so they can prune their workforces. AI has it's place in gamdev, but it's not this.
