Today in coffee shop snooping, a mother nearby is very calmly, very rationally explaining to her misbehaving daughter that throwing a tantrum is a very hurtful and inappropriate way to react to not getting what she wants. The young lady is old enough to experience guilt, perhaps for the first time.
