Just an old badger, trying to make sense of the world and how he fits into it all. Late to the party, but at least I made it π³οΈβπ Wholesome dad by day, a whole different animal by night. (There may be NSFW content, so beware) https://www.theoldbadger.me/

And now I own a Stoat Chat instance... so, that's a thing now.
Discord can choke on this dih.

Yoooooo where are all the binturong furs at?? Apparently you all smell like butter popcorn
Interesting way of putting things (from the creator of Perplexica/Vane):
My interest in these things stems from a desire to understand it more and to find ways I can augment and expand my existing skills and knowledge. I don't agree with replacing humans with it, but with it helping to make humans better.
This is what evolution looks like at a human timescale.
Set up a Vane instance (formerly Perplexica) for myself today... for when mom says we have Perplexity at home.
It's pretty freaking awesome to host my own AI/ML stuff. I keep my data to myself and the hardware has a substantially lower power cost than a data center node.
Sunny and warm yesterday, freezing and snowing today. Welcome to March in Maryland.
A selfie of me in my pink bunny partial fursuit of Sugarbun and Cleo in her gray and blue wolf partial fursuit of Levi
Good morning Bluesky!
Fursuit selfies are always so funny cause our heads are too big and arms too short to make them look good XD. I tried my best to take a cute selfie with @kippaws.bsky.social though! I think it turned out alright haha.

... and then retrieve all of the files and write them to an output directory. I love solving little things like this... it makes my brain very happy.
Got a request to produce some incident documents from our Service Now instance. Rather than viewing 22 separate tickets and exporting to PDFs, I poked around the instance with a service user I created a while back and figured out how to write a small script that will take in the incident numbers...
I would, but none of them have asked me yet. π

This past week I learned that printing head bases and forming bucks in ABS is absolutely not worth the benefits... PLA or PLA+ for me from now on.

If Trump wants to be a king, then he should have no reservations against his son's being conscripted to serve in his war. I mean, England's male nobility serve(d) in His Majesty's armed forces... are the Trumps too cowardly to fight in what they believe is a justified war of choice?

For the love of all that is holy, do not buy Sunlu filament. It's objectively bad. Between spools disassembling themselves mid-print, to the horrific clogging issues I've had the not one, but THREE different printers, one printer with multiple extruders and hotends.
It's terrible shit. Respectfully
