Strong disagree. And anyway I'm not talking about process, I'm talking about authorship. Outsourcing authorship to generative AI just makes you a publisher
'AI' generated music really stifling discovery of new artists. People are going to stick more to artists they already know are authentic. It's hard not to be sus about every new name I see in our submissions

Unfortunately hard to manage the overhead, I used to mass ping artists whose songs got added on twitter, until that place imploded.
Working on a whole submission platform to better manage this.

Catching up on reviewing our synthwave submissions. Lets go
I'm not going to pre-emptively discard submissions because of the use of AI album art, however I'm obviously not a fan. Personally id prefer a blank black cover.
When it comes to my own hunting outside of submissions, via bandcamp etc, it does end up being a deterrent
well ackchuallly.... ;)
I do serve album art through metadata to the website, its not very prominent at the moment but it can appear in the background of the milkdrop visualiser.
It also shows on the youtube streams.
Dealing with AI generated album art is a bit trickier and i think lower priority
