Reminder: Although the US and Iran have been adversaries for 47 years and tensions have been extremely high, there is a reason the US has never actually launched a war with Iran. It’s not that we haven’t thought about it before. In fact…it’s because we actually used to think before we acted.
For too long, this kind of behavior has been tolerated and normalized. Not just by politicians who willingly accept corrupt money and allow lobbyists to “persuade” them. But by the general population. The equally corrupt Supreme Court said it was okay to accept bribes. Doesn’t mean they have to.
