In honor of her being booted, here is Kristi Noem is telling feds to "hammer" protesters for "the way that they're talking, who they're affiliated with, who they're funded with, and what they're talking about." It's not that easy to get so much contempt for the First Amendment into a single speech.

While she is leaving DHS, the anti-immigrant policies devised by White House aide Stephen Miller aren't. Congress must remain firm and deny funding to DHS until they truly rein in ICE.
Because PROTESTING IS NOT A CRIME—in fact, it is protected activity under the very First Amendment of our constitution.
This is a fundamental, bedrock truth, whether the Trump Administration likes it or not.
Keep in mind that Texas has one of the biggest carceral systems in the world – and it still cannot supply clean drinking water, a basic human right, for folks behind bars.

Chicago's U.S. attorney's office has released evidence from the case against Marimar Martinez, pre-empting her press conference later today.
It even released text messages it once claimed would "sully" a Border Patrol agents's rep.
