I don't think the goalie was impacted by the contact, and may have benefited a bit...so the spirit of the rule it's not interference.

However the forward had his foot in the crease, and made goalie contact without being pushed, so by strict definition of the rule it is interference.

He's also known by our family as the "milkshake man" so its nice I can still root for him (Even tho he plays for the wrong teams now)

I just finished reading Unruly for the second time. Good book, full of wit. It was too short for me tho. I really wish they spent a few more pages for some of the more significant monarchs, and went beyond Elizabeth I.

The "explain it like you are 5" explanation is... "they are poo poo heads".

"This could be our last game, we need to be prepared" should be the attitude regardless of which team they are playing. You only get one shot, and all of the teams on a good day can take out any other team on a bad day.

It's good practice for the next round. These players are good, but don't play on the same side much, so it takes time to really gel. This was them making the most of the in-game time available.

Of all the was to "faux pas", this is a pretty hilarious and benign way to do it.
