I love when loading screens don’t feel like loading screens.

My 16 year old got a job a couple of months ago. Yesterday was my birthday and she bought me flowers and some chocolate. 😭 I don’t think I’ve ever received flowers. Also, having a child spend their disposable income on you is a really weird feeling.

I hate when I go to buy a domain and someone owns it but they aren’t even using it and then I realize that I own the domain.

I was guilty of this. I think it was mostly because I was thinking “when this value changes I want this other state to change.” useEffect accomplishes this consistently. It wasn’t until I started writing tests that I realized that things weren’t working how I expected.
