Regal ticket ordering page for Project Hail Mary IMAX Sunday at 11:30 am
I really enjoy movies in theaters and even IMAX once in a while. But FUCK Regal Cinemas. $65.82 for 2 IMAX seats at 11:30 am on a Sunday. I'll still see it in the theater, but at NCG Cinema on a regular screen for 1/3 of the price. #corporategreed

When they say we're energy independent, they are lying. We produce light crude while our refineries are set up for heavy crude. No amount of oil production would matter if we cannot process it. The best thing to do is to make it worthless to move to green energy.

Domestic uses for military spending on Iran
Shared via Claude, an AI assistant from Anthropic
I asked Claud Ai this:
The United States is spending 1 billion dollars a day to bomb Iran. It's been 11 days. What could that money be used for domestically to improve Americans' lives?
Here is the response

The Corporate Miscreants Driving the Affordability Crisis
These 20 firms all have something in common: Their CEOs get paid millions, their workers are being pushed onto public assistance, and voters are fed up with them.
Starbucksβ CEOβs total compensation last year was $97,813,843. Thatβs 6,666x what the average @sbworkersunited.org barista makes.
Itβs a new level of corporate greed.
It would cost less than one day of sales to finalize a fair contract. We stand in solidarity with them in this fight.

The only way to prevent future wars is to make fossil fuels useless.

Right on the nose. No amount of advertising or "new" products will get me to shop there again. The new "insider" CEO doesn't get it.

Every one of these dopes thinks they are the one to succeed by tying their wagon to Trump. Every one of them ends up as the coffee boy that he didn't know by the end. I predict the new one won't last a year.

When and where does Kristi Noem face her first state trial?
I have all these frequent flier miles, and it's been a long time since I got to watch something truly satisfying in person.

I want an EV, but I cannot afford a legacy auto company EV at $50-110k. Chinese auto company BYD is selling $28k EVs in Mexico. These legacy auto companies had better wake up, because there aren't enough rich people to sustain all of them.

Stellantis is in a crisis of its own making
The names may change, but the company stays frustratingly familiar.
The American auto companies decided to sell fewer vehicles at higher margins. They viewed EVs as the next cash cow, selling to wealthy people. Making 110k electric trucks is insane. It's trying to sell to an audience that thinks "rolling coal" is cool.

Can you imagine if we made fossil fuels worthless starting 40 years ago. We wouldn't have any interest in the Middle East region.

So the plans to sell EVs to the rich have failed. How about selling sub $20-25k EVs to the rest of us who want them? Hear that, American Auto companies? Can't keep out BYD forever.

Air America was a good idea just implemented poorly with not enough money to get it going. I started listening in my 20s, not very political and now Iβm in my 50s very well engaged with political system.

My entire adult voting life the Democratic Party moderates have told liberals like me. Donβt move too fast. Donβt change things too fast. American public canβt handle it. The general public agrees with liberal policies when you strip the Democratic name off of it.

It feels like it's time for another "Huffington Post" to be spun up, giving the "new" bloggers, aka SubStackers, a central outlet to be found and a place to bring their voices together. There's the DailyKos, but that's it, IDK. I have the skills to do it, but sadly, I don't have the resources.
