Just read Absolute Martian Manhunter vol 1 by @denizcamp.bsky.social & @javierrodriguez.bsky.social and it’s an incredible book, the use of color and abstraction is a blast and a fun departure from more straight forward punch em up books. Can’t wait for more

Many people comment on how Marty resembles other things. It's great because that's where the concept comes from, from pareidolia. The idea is that his face, his shape, had to be like when you see a face in a plug socket, on the front of a car, or in a cloud. So this back-and-forth is great.
