It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.

@profgalloway.com @karaswisher.bsky.social this is extremely relevant to the conversations you’ve been having on @pivotpod.bsky.social — www.tiktok.com/t/ZTM156hUA/
At this point, I basically assume they’re all Russian assets 🤣
Those look like mammatus clouds, I think?
RedNote is literal propaganda.
I like that!
Just read @tylerking.app's post regarding why his company is not remote.
I'm a remote guy - that's my preference. This is the first time I've seen a reasonable argument for in-person-first since the pandemic (despite being written 3 years ago).

(For the record, I actually like tswift’s stuff. Jury’s still out on Tortured Poets but I’ve had Midnights on repeat since it dropped)
😁😁
Lmao
This is really something.
This is pretty realistic, but for the final touch, you should make like 50 asshole guy sims that she can date and break up with, otherwise her music will suck.
This made me laugh.
I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you.
I’ve observed a couple of things here: X has now become even more of a right-wing echo chamber, and this place has become a bit of an echo chamber for the left. And people from both sides either deny it outright - or they acknowledge it and say “yeah but when we do it, it’s okay.”
I feel like we use that word to describe the results of every election.
For sure!
It’s okay to consume content that supports your views and preconceptions. But you absolutely must consume content from sources you disagree with. Even if - especially if - it makes you angry.
You MUST be willing to challenge your beliefs every day.
Sure. And that’s fair, but insults aside, echo chambers are still counterproductive.
Fair. Well I can help bring some balance 🤣
I think both can be true at the same time, although this place hasn’t gotten as extreme.
Sounds good to me. I’m in.
Good. That report should be public. The government works for us, and should be fully transparent at all times - with few exceptions (eg national security).
I disagree with Goldstein here.
That said, it’s no sin for the @nytimes.com to run editorials from all corners of the political spectrum. This isn’t a case of “anticipatory obedience,” it’s a case of the Times editorial section doing exactly what an editorial section is supposed to do.
Awww yeah and I’m here to pop that balloon!
3. Arrogance and a disdain from the left for people who aren’t well-educated coastal or urban elites.
Anecdotally - my MAGA-type friends simply believe that stuff isn’t true. They think the charges are trumped up (pun… intended I guess). That’s how they can vote that way with a clear conscience.
