The Labour reaction to a Green win ought to be the opposite of that.

It'll change as the election approaches. When people are asked now they probably haven't thought yet about tactical voting considerations.

I don't think so. I wish Starmer would change tack and stop appeasing Reform supporters, but if the Greens win it means people are prepared to vote tactically to stop Reform, and the main beneficiaries of that at the GE will be Labour.

I'm a Labour party member and live too far away to go and help out there anyway, but if I were closer I'd have seen the momentum shifting to the Greens as today approached and sat this one out rather than do my bit to help let Goodwin in.
