In my early 20s I got REALLY into modular origami and made a lot of these shapes out of paper. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this. :)

No, I'm not in Toronto, but that looks cool!

They're both amazing films, and they both touch on a lot of the same kinds of themes, but they each do it in a completely different way from the other. It was fascinating to see them one after the other. The human capacity for creating art never ceases to amaze.

I saw Hamnet and Sentimental Value within a few weeks of each other, so I couldn't help but compare them. They're sort of both about grief and family trauma. But in Hamnet, the emotion is big and raw, and in SV it is all below the surface, communicated through subtle body language and silences.
