Screenshot of the best deckbuilder to ever grace this planet.

In this demo, you can experience the core loop of the game. First, you can expect a tutorial. Then you can play with two different characters for the first half of the regular game, along with the “Daily Flight”: a brand new challenge every single day with a global leaderboard. Hours of playtime await you, and we hope you enjoy every single minute!

Sparrow Warfare is a synergy-rich deckbuilder where you make wild combinations of tiles to free birds and battle against the fiendish Storyteller and his minions.

In addition, daily flight mode offers endless replayability with different challenging modifiers and global leaderboards.

Features:
🃏Deckbuilding: 150+ wildtiles to discover and infinite game-breaking combos to find
♾️ Endless Replayability: progressive difficulty, daily flights & challenging modifiers
🔥 Multiple Playstyles: suit your personal taste, whether you prefer aggression or cunning
🐦‍🔥 Big Bird Action: 100+ birds to free, each one featuring real bird sounds
🤺 Meta-Strategy: experiment with synergies & build new approaches run after run

The full game of Sparrow Warfare will include all four different Ways (Fire, Song, Water, and Ghost), the full progression mode up to Level 12 for all four Ways, and Steam achievements. We plan to have full localisation for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, and Russian in the full game.

Sparrow Warfare is developed by just two veteran game developers (Martin Pichlmair & Charlene Putney) who share all of the work between them, but it wouldn’t be as good without the amazing assistance of our loyal playtesters: we love you guys!

We truly hope you enjoy our demo. Please wishlist and follow Sparrow Warfare to keep informed about development and help us get the word out there.

Fly free little sparrows!

I think it was at "they have awards for video games?!" that I knew I knew I was going to be there a while.

"So as I was saying, Zelda: Breath of the Wild was popular at the time, and so was Untitled Goose Game. What? Yes, a goose. Anyway, so the goose is kind of a dick, that's important to know-"

I tried to tell your story to my barber one time, and the number of things I had to explain to him in order for any of it to make sense was staggering. 😅

♻️ICYMI: As of January 1, 2026, you can recycle more items, like flexible plastics, foam packaging and paper cups.

In my early 20s I got REALLY into modular origami and made a lot of these shapes out of paper. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this. :)

It was SO good! And it was really nice to see a movie filmed in Toronto actually be about Toronto.

And we're off! My most favourite telescope, the Vera Rubin Observatory, has turned on its public alert stream and boy, were there a lot of changes in the Universe last night. More coming: ~7 million a night 😮: exploding stars, belching black holes, asteroids cruising through the solar system. 🤗🔭🧪

Now this *may* look like a non-interactive table, but that's only because the button you can click on isn't visible unless you scroll horizontally. Also the button is that small arrow at the end of the table row. Click that. Now under "Listing assets" you'll see your description.

Not so fast! You're wrong! It *is* in "Grow users"! Why? Who knows! Let's go in there. Now just select "Store presence" then "Store listings", and then find "Default store listing".

lol, nope! That's just a list of checklists you can go through? Ok "Publishing overview" makes sense. Wrong again! Must be "Test and release", since that's where each version is uploaded? Haha! No. "Monitor and improve" makes no sense, neither does "Grow users", nor "Monetize with play"

I am trying to set up some stuff in the google play console, and I feel like I'm losing my damn mind. What UX Joker organized this?! I was trying to find my app description text. Let's have a look... "Dashboard" Excellent. Let's look there. That's where everything important should be, yes?

They're both amazing films, and they both touch on a lot of the same kinds of themes, but they each do it in a completely different way from the other. It was fascinating to see them one after the other. The human capacity for creating art never ceases to amaze.

I saw Hamnet and Sentimental Value within a few weeks of each other, so I couldn't help but compare them. They're sort of both about grief and family trauma. But in Hamnet, the emotion is big and raw, and in SV it is all below the surface, communicated through subtle body language and silences.

Hamnet (2025) ⭐ 7.9 | Biography, Drama, History 2h 5m | PG-13

"Hamnet" (2025) A film about the death of Agnes and William Shakespeare's son. It's about grief and trauma, love and family, and the power of art. Intensely emotional. Stellar performances. Be prepared to cry. :) www.imdb.com/title/tt1490...

"Nirvana The Band The Show The Movie" (2025) This movie is completely unhinged in the best possible way. If you watched the web series in the mid-00s, then you know what to expect. SO funny. My chest hurt from laughing by the end. Nice to see Toronto featured as Toronto. www.imdb.com/title/tt3552...

"The Secret Agent" (2025) A film set in 1970s Brazil about a man on the run, about the politics of the time, corruption, family, truth, history. One of the most suspenseful movies I've seen in a while. Beautifully shot, terrific acting, I also found it pretty upsetting. www.imdb.com/title/tt2784...

"One Battle After Another" (2025) I've had very mixed reactions to PTA's previous films, but I loved this one. A story about revolutionaries and a man trying to protect his daughter. The action sequences are so intense. The whole thing is very stylishly made. It's wild www.imdb.com/title/tt3014...

"Sentimental Value" (2025) One of the best films I've seen in years. A story about an aging film director trying to reconnect with his two daughters. It is beautiful, and sad, and very subtle with its emotional touch. The actors are all phenomenal. I saw it twice. www.imdb.com/title/tt2771...

"It Was Just an Accident" (2025) A wonderful film from Iran about a man who thinks he bumps into the man who was his captor while he was in prison for being a political dissident. It is lighter than it sounds, often funny, deep, but also beautifully made. www.imdb.com/title/tt3649...
