The more the USA is entangled with those oil autocrats, the more autocratic the USA becomes.

Another problem with only 1% serving in the military is that many Americans don't know anybody serving. All strangers. No skin in the game. A war, without any pain, can be viewed as an entertainment, a sporting event. If your Johnny in in the action, then it is a different matter.

I was born a raised thirty miles wests of Minneapolis. Proud of my people. Trump's abuse has cost them at least $1 billion in damages. He appears to hate them like Netanyahu hates Gaza & Iran. "Home of the brave ..."

And nobody appears to be upset about it. That would pay for everybody's health care coverage, right there.

We don't have periods of peace anymore. The conflicts just roll from one to the next. When was the last time Congress voted for a smaller defense budget? Biden, to his credit, tore off the bandaid & got out of Afghanistan. Didn't save us a dollar. Trump's spending has no limits, big plans.

I live in Oregon, so I had to frame it in the most insulting way possible.

Trump pardoned that former Honduran president, Hernandez, a massive drug dealer. He's in our prison & Trump lets him go? WTF? No serious, rational explanation given. Yet Trump is fighting drug trafficking? DOES NOT COMPUTE.

Ecuador, yes. Lots of "drug war" activity, that may very well not be drug war at all. Trump gave $40 billion to prop up Argentina's economy? Or was that funding for Latin American fascism? He's propping up every Pinochet wannabe. Note all those Epstein co-conspirators? Drug profits were mixed in.

I don't know that, but I wouldn't be surprised at all. Nothing can stop Trump from ripping us all off every day. Insider trading must be through the roof. How much has his family raked in, that we know of? $4 billion, give or take?

A terrific misallocation of resources. Look at this last election. Nobody voted for another war, quite the opposite. Trump is an autocrat, "fascist to the core," who never believed in democratic government at all. He plays his "base" for suckers & chumps. A grifter profiteering in public office.
