Hey Governor Newsome and Democratic Party strategists:

This is a winning strategy.
Have some convictions and stand by them. Show some moral courage and support vulnerable communities. Not the feckless limp-dicked "centrist" bullshit you keep trying and failing with.

Looks like Timmy stepped in it...

It is nice to be reminded of how incredibly young he is.

That's a not surprising L take from someone who became famous before he could develop any sense of taste on his own.

Opera & Ballet have outlived empires, they're doing fine, but could be more affordable.

In every Republican presidency of my lifetime there's been a recession and a new war in the Middle East.

The Stranger is clearly bad. He has zero qualms with murder. He is, however, very cool and very sexy, and his choices make sense.

This is definitely the most nuanced SW has ever been and it's so damn good.
I love the Jedi as a institution for good, but made up of people. And people are flawed.

This is why crate training is so good for most dogs. It's their room, their safe spot. They are safe and know the routine.

Button is a very funny boy though, he'll figure it out. Sweet guy, who doesn't like some table time?

By the way, this is how terrorists are created.

Guess we'll see them in 10-20 years and can keep the cycle going.

They're so desperate to make company towns. One of my great grandfathers fought in the Battle of Blair Mountain, so we should remind them of that.

I enjoyed this one far more than the first.
Vis being The Most Special Boyβ„’ is a worn out trope at this point, but the split narrative & world building was much more engaging.

And I'm a sucker for SciFi disguised as high fantasy.

Curious to see how it all plays out in the next one.

Moral panic is one thing, but we do actually have peer reviewed studies (and more coming every year) on the effects of social media on the human brain.

People worried about children reading is laughable because we have the data on the incredible benefits of reading. That's not what's happening now.

I did some work on Days of Our Lives about a decade ago and getting to walk around that set and backstage of what was The Tonight Show and seeing how much of the old infrastructure & artifacts were still there was an absolutely joy for a kid like me who grew up watching Nick at Night.

Leonard Nimoy in 1979, on the eve of returning as Spock in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, was asked what he thought about the success of Star Wars despite its (perceived) lack of β€œsocial significance”. Nimoy, bless him, was having nothing to do with any β€œStar Trek vs Star Wars” bickering.

The worst thing about it is the suffering, death, and destruction.

The second worst thing is just how predictable all this has been.

And fuck every single one of you who didn't listen when we told you so. You're games are stupid and the cost is life, just not yours.

I realized 2 things that were throwing me:

1st is the Annie Leibovitz styling & heavy processing. It's not video but a staged portrait.

& 2nd, more importantly, seeing Kratos grounded into reality and played by a human with real human expressions is jarring at first look.

I'm interested.
