Like anything, it's a continuum: too much can be poisonous; a few drops of bleach makes water safe to drink, but if you drink a glass of bleach, you'll be pretty sick. Exaggerated masculine traits and behaviors are toxic, not actually masculine. In fact, they're evidence of weakness and dysfunction.
The key word is "toxic", not "masculinity". It's a different category of masculinity that uses so- called "traditionally masculine" behaviors to explain their assholery. Toxic is asshole, Masculine isn't. We also have toxic femininity, but i guess guys don't talk about that much.

Maybe, but it seems to me that like so much of what Minnasotans are doing, her going public is shining the light on the darkness that this administration is perpetrating. She's not the one who should be in hiding or backing down. I hope the rest of us can live up to Minnesota's example.
I always figured he's there, not for his opinions, but for the faces he makes, that are so perfectly rehearsed that let the audience know that whoever is disagreeing with him, or women regardless, is just overemotional, "hysterical" and not understanding the issue. He's a dull, heavy, grimy tool.
