The default handle looks like this: @yourname.bsky.social You can set your handle to any domain you own. For example, as Bluesky owns the domain bsky.app they can use @bsky.app as their handle. This automatically acts as a form of verification. Those who don't own a domain can use community handles, e.g. @sky-tan.kawaii.social The user owning the domain kawaii.social allows other Bluesky users to use it for their handles. There are a few more community handles such as swifties.social or army.social. Please note: 1. You'll have to update links that lead to your old handle 2. If in the future kawaii.social would go down, you'll have to go back to bsky.social again. Please consider a donation to the domain owner
