My eyes were constantly drawn to her facial expression every time I popped into the store. A beautiful piece!
The government is asking for public comments on whether banks should be able to deny you from buying legal goods at their own whim (i.e. how they're cracking down on art)
Tell them you don't want to be told how to spend your money

One of my other big regrets of CAPCon was missing @trebleandlove.bsky.social's set at the concert! I heard she absolutely killed at the show, and word got around at how amazing she was! I hope to see her play next year, she's amazing!
Too kind Extra! So great to hang with you more this year's con! What a gentleman!
Aww bless you Waffles! It was such a pleasure getting to hang n chat with you this past week! Here's to the next!
Sad to say, but the writing is on the wall with Substar. This statement doesn't change things, they showed their cards, and its hard to trust any company now when it comes to stuff like this, especially in this current political/economic climate. Will be finding means elsewhere to support my work.
Awww this is lovely, thank you!!! Iโm sorry you had to miss CAP, but I hope you can attend next year!
Looks like I should look into switching to Pixiv?
I've done a bunch that are funny in different ways (general humor, cringe, parody, etc.). It's hard to choose a fav, but I've done a few really cartoony ones with Lana Lynn and some character ones with Aimes and Pawson. I guess it's hard to choose since I made em vs just viewing them.
Ooh that's tough. Lately my go too is rye. So good for toast in the mornings. My standard is just whole wheat for sandwiches at home, or a fresh pumpernickel is nice every once in a while.
At least Odie's short arm that I drew is only a fading memory lol
I'm reinvigorated by CAP, so I definitely want to ride the high n draw more.
Seeing friends and being able to open up and just have a nice normal chat n connection with them! Very refreshing contrast to the hullabaloo of the con!
Just getting to see n reconnect with old friends! A lot of artists this year, it was great to meet with them in person and get to know them better outside of just appreciating their art n talking over text.
I've never had like a full immersive playdate with a friend where I just stayed with them and just had a fun time going from playroom to playroom. But it has to be with the right, special person! I've had one or two scenes, but those were special cases, so I just ride the high when I can.
But I did attend the tea party, which was a lot of fun, and to both @jasminestarshine.bsky.social's podcast recording and the art panel where I sat in the audience for this year rather than being in it for a change.
I sadly didn't go into any of the rooms other than the classroom on the last day to draw with some friends, but I spent a lot of time outside of the rooms near the pool, as well as the bar.
Close to 40. So many! And it's somehow never enough!
Oh I used them exclusively after you gave em to me! They work so much better, BUT they rubbed off on people's bedsheets in the hotel, I feel terrible for the laundry staff! I need to find something better for next year.
I did a ton of Garfields, close to 40 of em. And I did a bunch of sketches of the mascots that I sold to folks. And some drunken ones on a dry erase board in the main lobby.
My favorite might have been either the one I drew on @paddlesnpacis.bsky.social (Garfield as the Dude from The Big Lebowski) or on @lowkeyilewd.bsky.social (The Assassination of Garfield by The Coward Odie)
Oh yes, it's TMITuesday! I'm back from CAP, so if anyone has questions about it, throw em my way!
I have few regrets about CAP this year, but my biggest one was barely being able to talk one-on-one about with @aartfus.bsky.social at all!
Got home late last night after some ultra tight connecting flights, but I made it. This con has really made me reflect on my body n health, and having to run halfway across an airport to catch the next flight certainly reinforced it! Time to get back on track!
Another CAPCon in the bag. I came in this year with the sole expectations of seeing old friends, making new ones and just living vicariously through the excitement and actions of others, so I got what I wanted and more there. Personal insecurities aside, it was all I wanted to do. Excited for 2027!
