Just so you and anyone else reading this knows, that wasn’t us. We predate “The Indie Game Awards” by around a year.
We’re not big fans of genAI either, but taking an award back is not something we’ve ever done.

Our physical trophies are also provided without cost, thanks to the sponsorship of GameMaker.
If you can’t make it to the in-person ceremony, we will gladly ship your trophy anywhere in the world.
Submitting your game for consideration is free, and we don’t charge a penny for our in-person awards ceremony.
Shortlisted nominees will be announced on March 1st, 2026.
The eligibility period is the entirety of 2025. Your game must have been released during this period.
Open to all, worldwide.
