Domino magic isn't for the weak. It takes a lot of skill and practice to get it right. The orbs of power can't be wield by just anyone. You will need to prove you're worthy and the best.

I'll keep pecking away at Elseware Express (maybe ks next year?) in the mean time, goal for April is to wrap print files for PONDUS for an October KS (save the date). You're a wizard on the hunt for the orbs of power. Adventure/battle royal game with domino magic and actions. Like EE, plays 1-6.
2 headed giant was one of the first ways I played magic (I was awful at it) but I like that format alot!

The no algo system here makes timing such an important part of the post and it games this stuff in a way I don't like. Why are we here? What is bluesky for? Why haven't the women in my life mentioned it ever?
yep agreed. (it's why i was originally inspired to make the game!) 18xx/train games seem to focus on 3+ players. very little attention in the 1-2 player arena. and I've had more fun at those player counts with EEv1 than higher. the small map really helps make it feel 'back and forth'.
elseware express volume 2. train pieces are mancala-ed around an action board and they push each other along a track.
volume 1 has to work at some point! Cause volume 2?? oh boy. mancala trains. gonna be a hit.
same. i'll keep pecking at it. i don't think (maybe i'm tricking myself, but i don't think so) that the game seemed bad or not interesting. but my presentation and marketing could def use work. i'm just not in the review/'hype' system, so no one knew about it. it'll be back!

It's not mindless. But I've been enjoying my nostalgic plays of old pokemon games. Doing the research for teams and planning moves and such has been a wonderful distraction.
She hasn't had her coffee yet. We'll see how the day goes. New managers always gotta make their mark.

I'm not 100% sure this new packing manager knows what she's doing. She's been here for 5 minutes and is already rearranging the shipping station. Like that's not even a good place for the scale.

I'm in a weird headspace at the moment, so idk. Part of me is sad, like I let my kid down. I didn't tee the ball right. another part is motivated to be better. play the 'game' more 'correct'. I'm mostly sad for the artist in me. He's gotta sit out for the next session while business man takes over.

oh! hmm. like a 3D render of the box? 3D isn't my thing but i'm working on some better looking boxes right now (some faux 2D) besides at the very top of the page and the picture we use for the reward... what would you like to see? Like a list of components? or it spread out on a table mid play?

It doesn't charge US sales tax even. it's quite an odd operation and it makes it difficult to behave in a modern global manner.
I like to sit the Card & Coin box next to me and the computer. We just stare at each other. "do they know i'm a lot of fun?" it asks me. and I just stare back wondering how to get better at marketing and why i'm hearing voices from a board game. Life is strange.
