For the demo, most things work. Now comes the little stuff, the polishing, the real-world user experience, and quite frankly, I'm not all that happy with the Github pages workflow yet. It's fiddly. #Obscura

Are we all becoming "time millionaires"? Stefan doesn't think so. An interesting read about "Jevons Paradox" in the context of #AgenticCoding: www.stefanmunz.com/posts/2026/t...

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Trying out @eurosky.social today - curious to see how a Bluesky/ATProto stack hosted in Europe will work out! I'm still a bit skeptical (that's why I'll watch before migrating everything), but digital sovereignty over our social infra sounds good to me. ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ

Interesting insights from an eight-month study of how generative AI changed work habits at a U.S.-based technology company with about 200 employees. While the use was non-mandated, one person's empowerment seems to be another's self-exploitationโ€ฆ

Citation from the linked article: "The experience that tech workers have had over the past year, of watching Al go from "helpful tool" to "does my job better than I do", is the experience everyone else is about to have. Law, finance, medicine, accounting, consulting, writing, design, analysis, customer service. Not in ten years. The people building these systems say one to five years. Some say less. And given what I've seen in just the last couple of months, I think "less" is more likely.

AI is reshaping the job market faster than most of us expected. Whether you're worried, excited, or somewhere in between - this is worth a read.

Citation from the linked article: "We are seeing the largest shift in software engineering that I've witnessed in over 20 years in this industry. This isnโ€™t hyperbole. When developers like DHH and Linus Torvalds โ€” people who have historically been sceptical of every trend โ€” start acknowledging that Al is changing how they work, you should pay attention."

Bjรถrn and I have been talking a lot about machine learning, LLMs, and agentic coding lately, and I always come away from our conversations with something valuable. Now he just wrote the most grounded, no-nonsensical piece on the topic I've come across in a while.

Current An RSS reader that doesn't count. What happens when you stop treating your feeds like an inbox and start treating them like a river.

"I named the feeling phantom obligation: the guilt you feel for something no one asked you to do." This piece by @terrygodier.bsky.social is so much genuine love for product poured into words that it makes you want to drop everything and try the app immediately. ๐Ÿ˜

Workers Are Afraid AI Will Take Their Jobs. Theyโ€™re Missing the Bigger Danger. It isnโ€™t whether artificial intelligence is going to replace them. Itโ€™s who will control the knowledge that companies capture from their employees.

"Right now, workers are potentially training AI how to make them obsolete. These systems can record your interactions within the platformโ€”the prompts you write, the documents you create, the queries you run [โ€ฆ] so it may eventually know, down to increasingly fine details, how you do your job."
