ppl have become so apathetic to artists these days all i can do is scoff roll my eyes and move on when i see some tweet that’s basically “hey the guy i commissioned killed himself can i ask his family for a refund” and everyone in the replies is like “yes and fuck him”

I’m sorry that you had the same experiences.
I mean this is also completely ignoring the fact that I had to go to trial against one of my online groomers who decided to call a 16 year old girl their abuser after I finally started telling people about what they did to me but you know.
I look back at it now and realize how many 30 year old women were my friend when I was 14-15-16-17 and just wonder how everyone normalizes older women being around young girls and that not having predatory implications. Because this person also sent me their NSFW artworks they made as well.
Thinking of how when I was 17, my 30+ year old online friend commissioned me and then crashed out when I was unable to finish it within a few months because I was also dealing with high school and they went on this huge rampage about how all of their friends fail them but I was also 17.
Can we stop doing this it pisses me off
Artists will tweak about someone reposting their art with credit while they themselves repost someone’s content without credit because it isn’t art therefore they don’t see it as equal to their efforts and hold no respect for it themselves

I think a bit of subsurface scattering against the tips of the fingers could be a nice touch, and maybe just a strand or two of wild hair pinging out here or there to give it just abit more life.. If you'd like I could paint over a bit and send it to you on disc!
OK I think that this is great!! If anything, I think that the shoulders could use some more darkness/value to make them stand out against the grass (which you could also desaturate the green slightly to make the purple of his clothes stand out more) and that would already help a lot.
