Thank you, yes, as a business we’re very heavily item-oriented. I’ve flagged with my Microsoft partner so hopefully they’ll get a bit more info in the next day or two. If nothing, I will postpone a little at least until we’ve been able to test in a sandbox.
My company migrated from on-prem to SaaS 27.2 two weeks ago. The environment is due to update in a few days time. I need to avoid any issues that negatively impact user experience especially so soon after migration. Should I postpone it? How quickly do issues such as this typically get resolved?
I specified something much like this for our NAV environment many years ago and it’s still in use in BC today. I’m sure it’s a fairly common request for Microsoft partners?
Governments should mandate that smart glasses have a flashing red LED all the time they are active and totally ban live recording in public spaces because if anyone objects, it’s already too late!

Perhaps Microsoft should have asked some sort of AI if embedding AI into everything that moves - or doesn't - could cause a problem.
I thought they already did that: They appeared, unannounced, on my machine months ago - and were my swiftly removed! I am in charge of my taskbar, tyvm, Microsoft.
Cynical me wondering if it's a ploy? If [intentionally introducing?] a breaking-bug requiring a direct contact with MS support is how they think they're going to force me to try using new Outlook again, they are gravely mistaken. Tried too many times and I hate it.
Achievement Unlocked: I have scripted an object in Second Life, using a "Proxy" API function in Azure to send requests to, and get responses from Business Central SaaS (CRONUS Demo) sandbox API. Why? Because I can. How? With much help from CoPilot! 😁
Yeah, I really expected it to have gone. We use Jet Reports mostly so might have had to modify quite a few to get the Ending Date by reading ahead to the next row's Starting Date and deducting 1. We intend to move most reporting to Power BI and will plan for the GB table to be removed just in case.
I simply can't wait for it to let me know how sh*t I am at FPS.
That sounds like a "bad thing", right?
My company uses Accounting Period GB table to drive financial reports (we use 5-4-4 period structure). We're soon migrating to SaaS and I expected to find that table gone (from V25 cleanup) but it seems it's still there...for now. Will that be impacted by "delocalization" imminently?
Whenever I’ve wanted to use it I can never actually remember what it’s called. However in the last few days I’ve reinstalled it on both home and personal phones to scan documents. *sigh*
Is this only relevant if we use Standard Costing? My company operates with FIFO and I’ve never considered setting up an SKU for our Items replenished through Prod. Order. I run Adjust Cost - Item Entries every night.
Floppy disks, not drives.
Absolutely remember him and his utilities which were an essential tool for me back in the day, most notably to breathe new life into otherwise seeming corrupted floppy disk drives. I can’t say I remembered the crossed arms image even though I must have seen it a thousand times. Weird.
