Senior School Guidance Counsellor Ms. Miki recently visited @uniofstandrews.bsky.social and @edinburgh-uni.bsky.social! Opportunities such as these allow our Guidance department to build relationships with world-renowned institutions and share up-to-date information with prospective HC students.

Last night we held a special edition of our Senior School Music Night at Koerner Hall! Parents, family, and friends joined us in this spectacular space to hear a selection of pieces by our talented musicians. Joining us on stage were several #HCAlum, including guest soprano Nicole Leung.

March is Nutrition Month! In celebration, our Chartwells Food Services team hosted a fun and tasty pop-up event at the Junior School. Students sampled a white bean dip with chips, while learning about healthy eating, fibre-rich foods, and building balanced snacks.

Congrats to our Senior School Drama team for this year's outstanding presentation of "Clue"! Putting on this show was a tremendously tough feat, which took immense talent to accomplish this level of physicality, timing, and technical load; we're proud of our 40+ student cast and crew.

Middle School students and several Grads gathered in the Middle School Art Room during lunch last week to create colourful greeting cards with messages of warmth and gratitude for our local senior community, in support of the organization Sunshine for Seniors - The Bloom Project.

At Upper School Prayers in Feb., we celebrated Black History Month and Lunar New Year, learned about going on exchange and how to become an author, and discovered what Faith in action looks like. To begin the Christian Lenten Season, we also heard what Followership looks like from a Christian lens.

Today was Pink Shirt Day, which is a national anti-bullying initiative inspired by an act of kindness in Nova Scotia in support of a student who was being bullied. We celebrated the theme of "Sprinkle Kindness" by wearing pink shirts and having a Thrive Day at the Junior and Upper Schools.
