Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

Richie has taken a giant step towards changing a deaf person's life after passing the third stage of his training 🥳

Richie is now getting ready to start the final part of training where he will learn how to alert his future partner to sounds like an alarm clock and smoke alarm.

In the final stage of her training, Ginny never lets anything faze her when she's in public places. Shops can be full of temptations, but Ginny knows these treats aren't for her.

Afterwards, she even got her own tasty dog treat for being such a star ⭐

He's passed the first stage of his hearing dog training, the Puppy 1 Star ⭐

Loki has been learning his basic cues in puppy class and heading into the next stage of training, will work on his recall and impulse control.

In the third stage of her training, Taylor is doing a terrific job taking in all the distractions of a shopping centre.

Visiting public places with her deaf partner will be a regular task, so it's important she feels confident when out & about 🐕‍🦺

In the final stage of her hearing dog training, Kayla kept her focus on her volunteer, and wasn't fazed by any of the distractions, including noisy shoppers, new smells, or the ever-so-tempting goodies on the shelves.

This wonderful boy has just started his early hearing dog training, which is filled with playing, exploring his surroundings, and having lots of cuddles.

When hearing dog Gerry's on the bus, he always shows such super focus on his deaf partner, Alison.

Not fazed by any of the sounds and movements of public transport, Gerry makes us so proud every time he's out and about 🚌🐕‍🦺

Being comfortable and relaxed around other animals is a great skill for any hearing dog to have, as their future deaf partner may already have a pet of their own🐾🥰

She's started working on her basic cues in new places and next she'll be working on her impulse control & recall as she heads into the next stage of her training.

Settling is a key skill for any hearing dog when they visit public places, and Mario always does a fantastic job when he's out and about with his deaf partner, Jennifer 🐾

Vimto is taking on some new adventures 🐕‍🦺

After passing her Puppy 2 Star, Vimto's diving into the next stage of her training & taking her new jacket for a spin.

She's been super when exploring public places with her volunteer, Ken, and was a very good girl on her bus trip 🚌
