I'm sorry I'm just really annoyed at a particular person who isn't even on this site. I assure you whoever reads this, this isn't about you.
I hate being taken advantage of, and especially when someone is making it cartoonishly obvious. I'm a person. As flat and boring as I am, I'm still a person. I don't exist to give art. I think about things, things that aren't inherently related to me drawing.
You can tell me about your character, tell me their lore, their inspirations, anything, and maybe I can start vibing with you if I don't just naturally vibe with you.
But if it's ONLY about how I should draw them, or if I can draw them, when I should draw them, that's not fun. That's not a vibe.
If I draw for someone unprompted, that is because they are my friend and I love them. I vibe with them. I WANT to give them something. They probably didn't even make any vague suggestion that I draw for them.
If I drew your character for money, that doesn't automatically mean we're friends.
Especially, ESPECIALLY when it's literally worded like "Hey, it would be reeeeeeal cool if you drew my character for me, or even in your general pictures for no reason as a reference o3o"
Like, who do you think you are? I can't vibe with you if everything is about how soon I can draw your character
That's not selfish of me, right? Like, it's normal to be annoyed when someone talks to you but only to get you to do things for them and like, nothing else. Right?
We can be friends even if we don't hold conversation with each other, but if we DO talk and all of the conversations amount to you telling me to draw your characters, I'm probably not going to feel like we're friends.

so the third episode of oreimo is titled There's No Way My Little Sister Can Be This Cute and the series title translates to basically the same thing but after the third episode kyosuke never seems to think kirino is cute ever again. what happened? is there really no way his little sister is that cute? did he give up on her cuteness? every episode after is titled something like There's No Way My Little Sister Can Do XYZ and every episode she does XYZ suggesting that there is a way his little sister can be that cute. but what's the point in that? where's the conflict? either kyosuke has accepted that his little sister can be that cute, in which case, end the series. there's nothing more to be discovered. the sky is blue, microplastics pollute my bloodstream and kirino kosaka is cute. it's just a fact we have to accept at that point. but what if there really is no way his little sister is that cute? what if it's impossible for his little sister to be as cute as he seems to try to deny she really is? in that case, i'd have to ask, why is he lying to himself? what's wrong with his little sister being that cute? why is kyosuke kosaka incapable of accepting that kirino kosaka might in fact (yes, in fact) be cute? what happens after that acceptance that he's so afraid of? is it worth lying to yourself for the rest of your life like that?

sometimes I have to stop myself from saying things that sound like much more insane ramblings than the ones that I usually say
